Surrounded by his loving family, Michael Joe Pittman of Albany, Oregon, passed away on May 20th 2021. 

His burial service will be held June 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Willamette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Michael Joe Pittman was born to Joe and Eva Pittman on November 17th 1950 in Nancy, Kentucky. He graduated high school in 1970 and attended Ohio State University where he met his wife Grace (Peterangelo) Pittman and they shared 26 great years of marriage together. In 1976 they moved to Albany, Oregon and bought their first home. They spent 25 years building their North Albany estate where they raised their three children: Trevor, Tommy and McKenzie.

Michael owned and operated McKenzie River Lumber for several years and also worked in his later years as a long haul driver and Camp Host in central Oregon. His passion included all things of the great outdoors as well as cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.  Above all else he enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren with candy and gifts. Mike was very gracious and personable with everyone he knew and will be missed by many.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Joe Pittman, mother Eva Pittman and ex-wife Grace (Peterangelo) Pittman.

Michael is survived by his 3 children Trevor and his wife Lindsay Pittman, Tommy and his wife Ashley Pittman, and Mckenzie Pittman and her Fiancé Daniel Gentry, and his grandchildren Alex, Kelsie, Harper, Dominic, Dimitri and Gemma.
