Fred J. “Skip” Blankenhorn, 73, of Fairborn, OH, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023, at his residence. He was born September 29, 1949, in Dayton, OH, the son of the late John F. and Patricia (Dalaska) Blankenhorn.

Survivors include two sisters, Peggy (FHS-65) Blankenhorn, Judy (FHS-69) (Gary) Barnhart; a nephew, Christopher Barnhart; great-nephew, Michael Barnhart; cousin, Dawn Dalaska; as well as other extended family and friends.

Skip was a charter member of Abiding Christ Lutheran Church and considered his fellow church members as family. During his many years at Abiding Christ, he served as steward, helped with VBS, and served as co-manager of the softball team. Skip also valued the friendships made while residing at the Fairborn Senior Apartments over the last several years. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
