JOHNIE LANE WHITLEY, FCS STAFF FHS Flyers Class of 1970 Johnie L. Whitley, age 62, of Fairborn, OH, FHS Flyers Class of 1970, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. He was born April 3, 1952, in Xenia, OH to John Franklin and Anna Francis Whitley, who predeceased him. Two children, James and Alice Whitley, preceded their father in death, as well. Johnie is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Borders, FHS Class of 1970); two sons, Benjamin D. Whitley and Daniel D. Whitley (FHS-2002) and grandson, Daniel J. Whitley. He served our country in the United States Air Force and retired from Fairborn City Schools after 30 years of service.
