Bert David Conley
Bert David Conley, age 57 of Fairborn, departed this life on Sunday June 13, 2010.
He was born on September 26, 1952 in Fairborn, the son of the late Renzoe and Minnie Christine (Bowling) Conley. He grew up in Fairborn with his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
He married his wife Christine Riley on October 7, 1995 and they were married for 14 years. He was a 1970 Fairborn High School graduate and was employed in sales.
Mr. Conley is survived by his wife, Christine Riley Conley of Fairborn; children, Christopher Conley of Beavercreek, John Conley of Vail, CO, Mindy Cleaves and husband Jeff of Fairborn, Sherri Dixon of Circleville, OH, Heather Charles and husband Mike of Miamisburg, and David L. Dunaway Jr. of Dayton; grandchildren, Alexis Bogan, Justin Dixon, Jonathan Conley, Lindsay Cleaves, Kellsie Cleaves, Jessica Cleaves, and Carson Cleaves; siblings, Curt Conley and wife Dorothy of Fairborn, Lola Shuman and husband Bruce of New Carlisle, Judy Kraker of Fairborn, Tim Conley of Carrollton, TX, and Dennie Conley and wife Jackie of Fairborn.
He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The family would also like to thank Jeff Hunt and Charles (Bud) Forkey for their devoted friendship.
He will be missed by many friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, Art Gillum, Jr. and Wendell Conley officiating. Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.

I was very saddened to learn of Bert's death. Why, I don't know, but I think of him when I do my gardening work. I say a little prayer for him and his family. Tears just start flowing. He was a good friend. I can still see his smile and hear his laughter!! Pamela S. (Powell) Ferguson
