We had many, but Dale was what I called one of the gentle giants of our high school. Because he went to Greene Joint, he was not seen in the hallways very often. Dale joined the wrestling team and was instrumental in developing the heavyweight division. The last time I saw him was at a reunion; he was surprised that I remembered him. We had a very nice conversation, and I am sorry we never had the chance to have more of them.

Dale and I became really good friends when we went to Greene Joint Voc. Sch....we spent a lot of time running the back roads between Fairborn and Beavercreek. He always had a smile and kind of made you wonder what he had been up to. We did get into a couple of altercations in Beavercreek but we managed to come out on top...He would do anything in the world for you as long as he didn't end up in jail...

Yep, and he did like Strawberry HIll once in a while at 79 cents a bottle. man, that was almost top shelf.
